Srinagar, April 15: Jammu Kashmir Apni Party Vice President, Usman Majid, on Monday said that he was only an “agent of the people” and “not the agent of any other entity or interest” while emphasizing that he will keep advocating for the rights and welfare of the people.
“I am only the agent of the people, not the agent of any other entity or interest. I will continue to work tirelessly as the people’s agent, advocating for their rights and welfare, ” he said, as per a handout released today.
“Let it be known that nobody can dare to dictate to me whom to vote for. My allegiance is to the national interest, the welfare of my people, and the principles of democracy,” he added.
Pledging allegiance to the national interest and the welfare of the people, Majid said, “I will support the party that works in the national interest and prioritizes the well-being of the people of Jammu and Kashmir.”
Emphasizing his role as a representative of the people, he reiterated, “I am only the agent of the people, not the agent of any other entity or interest. I will continue to work tirelessly as the people’s agent, advocating for their rights and welfare, ” he added.
The senior leaders made the remarks during a gathering of senior functionaries of the Jammu Kashmir Apni Party Banidpora.
“At the heart of the meeting was a collective assertion that we are not components of any arbitrary A team or B team. Rather, they proudly proclaimed themselves as the unified team of their leader, Usman Majid. With unwavering conviction, they stated, “We are not anybody’s A team or B team. We are the team of our leader, Usman Majid,” read the handout.
Those present in the gathering made it unequivocally clear that their affiliation lies squarely with Usman Majid and his visionary ideology. They emphasized their unwavering loyalty and dedication to upholding the principles and values championed by their leader, added the press release.
The functionaries, as per the release, reiterated their commitment to advancing his agenda for the betterment of the people of Jammu and Kashmir. They pledged to work tirelessly towards realizing his vision of progress, prosperity, and peace for the region.
