Issue of Security for panchayat representatives to be resolved soon: Monga

Baramulla, Dec 22: The newly elected Congress MLC Ghulam Nabi Monga on Saturday said the issue of security cover for panchayat representatives would be resolved soon as the state Congress party has taken up the matter with concerned ministry.
This he disclosed as he addressed scores of panchs and sarpanchs at a one-day convention at Dak Bunglow here where he was felicitated for his victory as Member of Legislative Council.
Monga said he would take up the issue of monthly remuneration for the panchayat representatives.
