Street-lights defunct at Ellahibagh
Srinagar, Dec 23: The Intizamiya Committee Masjid Ahlibait Rasool (SAW) Buchpora Ellahibagh here have appealed the concerned authorities to repair streetlights in the area.
A delegation from the area told Greater Kashmir that they are facing immense hardships due to defunct lights on tubular poles.
“These lights were installed few years ago but for past seven months they are not functioning. The concerned department inspected the poles and claimed that main transformer was damaged. But the lights are yet to be rectified,” they said.
The inhabitants appealed local MLA and the concerned authorities to look into the matter and restore the street lights.
