Sarpanchs, Panchs to get remuneration soon: Soz

Rajouri, Dec 25: President of Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) Saif-ud-Din Soz Tuesday assured that Sarpanchs and Panchs of the state would soon start getting monthly remuneration.
“The proposal to pay monthly remuneration and insurance cover for Panchs and Sarpanchs is under active consideration and a decision in this regard will be taken soon”, Soz said while addressing a gathering here.
He said the problems of people of border areas, LOC and refugees have been projected at the highest level and he was sure that these problems would be resolved soon.
Later addressing a congregations of Sikh devotees who had assembled at Nonial-Nowshera in connection with 69th death anniversary of Bawa Sunder Singh Jee, Soz demanded easy cross border travel for Sikh pilgrims who want to visit the shrines on the either side of LoC.
He also assured the gathering that their demand for promotion of Punjabi language and upgrading of schools would be taken up on priority with state government. He also assured to take up their demand pertaining of holding travels in the area with regard to Line of Control (LOC) would be taken up at the appropriate level.
