DDC for check on sale of tobacco near schools
Srinagar, Feb 8: Deputy Commissioner, Srinagar, Baseer Ahmed Khan Wednesday directed Chief Education Officer, Srinagar to ensure installation of signboards in all the schools, both Government and Private to declare them as smoke free areas. He further directed the police and Drug & Food Control Organisation to take action against shops selling tobacco and tobacco products within 100 yards of the educational institutions.
