Eye opener
The real face of Indian democracy once again stands exposed with the selective hanging of Afzal Guru. This communal hatred against Muslims in general and Kashmiris in particular has not gone. Though killing of innocent Kashmiris on the pretext of national interest has been going on for decades through different modus operandi, killing on the gallows marks a horrible chapter. Celebrating the brutal killing by distributing sweets and enjoying discussing it on electronic media depicts the depth of the sickened mind of Indian society. The society where open hate speeches of Tagodias Thakereys are termed as freedom of expression, and that of Owaisi a threat to the country. The execution should be an eye opener for our so called mainstream politicians who should stop fooling themselves with any democratic future with India.
