NC policy
Apropos the news item” India Suppresses” (GK February 10, 2013) . Mustafa Kamaal has rightly hogged the limelight by castigating the dual policies of central government meant to suppress rights of Kashmiris which was followed by the execution of Afzal Guru in a top secret operation in Tihar jail. This time, he left no stone unturned in lambasting centre with all valid reasons in protest against Afzal Guru’s execution. This is one of his bold statements of the NC leader. For, he deserves kudos! But at the same time, I fail to understand that why some statements of its party leaders differ with each other in some occasions. The statements of its leaders change according to the situation. For example, on one hand, Farooq Abdullah- he NC patron has always been beating the drum of Kashmir being the integral part of India while now, on the other hand, Kamaal, the general secretary of NC started criticizing center vehemently for their dual policies against Afzal Guru’s execution. If he now really realized the impracticality of expecting justice from India then he should no more hope for it from them. He must rethink his policy too.
