Traffic disrupted on highway

Ramban, Feb 13: Traffic remained disrupted on Jammu-Srinagar highway for more than six hours following landslides triggered at Seri near Ramban township on Wednesday morning.
As per official reports landslides, triggered early morning hours of Wednesday, blocked the Jammu Srinagar highway leaving thou¬sands of people stranded.
The district administration and BEACON immediately pressed its men and machinery into service to clear the landslides form the road but it took around six hours to resume the traffic, officials said.
Meanwhile, Inspector General of Police, Traffic said subject to fair weather and good conditions of road all kinds of vehicles would be allowed to travel from Jammu side towards Kashmir in regulated manner.
