Continue agitation till GoI returns bodies: Aasiya
Srinagar, Feb 18: Dukhtaran-e-Millat chief Aasiya Andrabi on Monday demanded that Government of India should return the mortal remains of Muhammad Afzal Guru, who was hanged at Tihar Jail in New Delhi on February 9, fortwith.
“Muhammad Maqbool Bhat and Muhammad Afzal Guru embraced the gallows in Tihar Jail for Islam and freedom of Jammu Kashmir. Their bodies are in the custody of New Delhi and we have to get these back,” Asiya said in a statement.
She appealed people to continue their agitation till the Government of India returns both the bodies.
Aasiya expressed serious concern over the death of a woman, Nazira Begum , in Kulgam, due to alleged raid on her house.
