Kupwara deputation calls on Viqar
Srinagar, Feb 1: The Minister of State for Power, Information and Technical Education, Viqar Rasool has said that necessary instructions have already been passed to the concerned for ensuring the repairs of damaged electric transformers in Kupwara within the shortest possible time so that people may not face difficulties on account of power supply.
The Minister was interacting with a deputation of Sarpanchs of Kupwara district here today.
The deputationists demanded the early repair of the damaged transformers, besides commissioning of electric receiving station at Lassipora Sogam.
Viqar assured the deputationists that all their genuine demands would be redressed within the shortest possible time. He said that the necessary instructions have already been passed to the Chief Engineer, Power Kashmir to ensure that the damaged transformers are repaired as soon as possible.
