Suzuki 2-wheelers record 14 pc sales growth

Srinagar, Feb 1: Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt Ltd, a subsidiary of world’s leading two-wheeler manufacturer Suzuki Motor Corporation, has registered 14 per cent increase in its January 2013 sales as compared to the corresponding period a year earlier.
Suzuki Motorcycle sold 39,982 units in January 2013 as opposed to 35,099 units in January 2012, recording a strong growth in its overall sales. The company has maintained a consistent growth path over the last couple of years, it said in a statement.
Speaking on this strong growth pattern, Atul Gupta, Vice President, Sales and Marketing, SMIPL, said: “We have received good response from the market for all our products. The growing customer satisfaction has led to positive word-of-mouth in the market. We will continue to give the best to our customers.”
