HCBA to suspend work on February 11
Srinagar, Feb 2: The Jammu and Kashmir High Court Bar Association (HCBA) has decided to suspend work on February 11 to “show solidarity” with the family members of JKLF founder, Shaheed Muhammad Maqbool Bhat and others.
A Bar spokesman said the decision to this effect was taken at a meeting of the Association at Saddar Court here. “Shaheed Bhat fought for the cause of liberation of Jammu and Kashmir and for self-determination which is being denied by New Delhi for the last more than 60 years. This is despite the fact that Government of India has acknowledged the right before the international community in the United Nations,” said the spokesman.
