Residents seek VC SDA’s intervention

Srinagar, Feb 2: People from various areas of the City have appealed the vice-chairman of Srinagar Development Authority (SDA) Khawaja Farooq Renzu to clear confusion in the draft of the proposed Master Plan for Srinagar. 
 They said areas particularly right side moving from Dalgate to Nigeen are missing from draft land use map uploaded on the website of SDA. They said these areas include
 Kharachi Mohalla, Khonakhan Dalgate, Khanyar, Budo Bagh, Bagh-e-Roop Singh, Miskeen Bagh, Reiteng, Lone Mohalla, Mughal Mohalla, Jogi Lanker, Saida Kadal, Nigeen.
 “We make a fervent appeal to VC SDA to clear the confusion by updating and zoning the map of proposed land use on the website so that we can file suggestions. As most of the people don’t have internet facilities, the rectified map should be published in locals newspapers,” they said.
