DRAFT MASTER PLAN FOR SRINAGAR
Srinagar, Feb 3: Vice-chairman of Srinagar Development Authority (SDA) Khawaja Farooq Renzu on Sunday said SDA would accept all suggestions for proposed Master Plan for Srinagar city.
Responding to clarification sought by people of various localities from right side of Dalgate to Nigeen, Renzu said these areas figure in the existing Master Plan.
“These areas have been enlisted as per the existing Master Plan and all their structures stand fully documented in the Development Control Regulation (DCR). Persons who have not been able to understand the proposed draft Master Plan on our website, can physically visit our Bemina office for suggestions or any clarifications regarding their respective areas,” Renzu said.
On Saturday delegations from Khayam, Nowpora, Kharashi Mohalla, Khonakhan Dalgate and adjoining areas had sought clarification from SDA regarding status on their areas in the draft Master Plan uploaded on the SDA website.
Meanwhile, various delegations from Habba Kadal constituency on Sunday called on legislator Shamim Firdous and appealed her to take up their suggestions and objections on the draft Master Plan with the SDA. Shamim assured the deputations that she would take up suggestions with the VC SDA.
