Faith question
I liked the column Write Hand "the question of faith" by Ajaz-ul-Haque. The approach is mild but argument is strong and convincing with universal relevance. The bottom line is, the religion should contribute to peaceful co- existence.' The intolerance to difference of opinion in matters of opinion is always cause of violence. One vainly hopes that religious leaders have a change of heart and should stop dividing humanity between faithfuls and faithless.
Few days earlier GK editorial was in the similar vein that the 'Prophet (SAW) had forbidden making difference between prophets as he himself was a link in the chain of prophets'. The message is clear and loud, and if followed the world will be so peaceful to live in. In fact much of misunderstanding is, of course, the creation of hostile West but our religious preachers also can not escape the blame. They have either out of ignorance or for vested interests always misrepresented faith.
