JK starts campaign with win

ALL INDIA AG’S FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT

Srinagar, Feb 6: J&K Comptroller and Auditor General’s office football team has started its campaign on winning note in the All India AG’s Football tournament at Nagpur on Wednesday.
In the match, JK defeated Rajasthan by 2-0. Shahnawaz scored first goal for the team in first half while as Sameer Kumar doubled tally in second half. Team will play its next match against the winner of the match between Kerala and West Bengal.
Pertinently, JK qualified for the All India event after winning North Zone round. In the final of North Zone level, JK had defeated Haryana.
