“As a result electricity is snapped to our locality and we have to reel under darkness. We had apprised the concerned field staff of PDD to rectify the problem, however our requests met with deaf ears. We had lodged a compliant in the Chief Minister’s grievance cell but no action has been taken in the matter so far,” the delegation said.
“Ironically, a Government colony which is situated parallel to our colony has been allotted with four distribution transformers while as there are only 35 houses. Despite being a fully metered area, PDD has failed to put in place proper power distribution network in our locality. We appeal the Chief Engineer PDD and concerned MLA to look into the matter,” the delegation added.
