JK Bank appealed to open branch at Ajmer
GK NEWS NETWORK
Srinagar, Feb 7: A group of customers today appealed the management of J&K Bank to open a branch at Ajmer Sharief.
They said people from Kashmir while in Ajmer Sharief face lot of problems because of the non-availability of a branch of the J&K Bank there.
“The bank has more than 600 branches across the country. But at Ajmer where thousands of pilgrims from across the state visit every year to pay obeisance at Dargah of Hazrat Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti, does not have a branch of the bank,” they said.
“People from Kashmir face lot of problems as there is no branch of the Bank at Ajmer,” said RK Dhar, Chartered Accountant and a client of J&K Bank.
Meanwhile, the customers appealed the JK Bank management to commission a branch in Ajmer at the earliest.
