Mehjoor gets 3rd time 5 wickets haul in 5 matches
Srinagar, Feb 7: Valley’s rookie pacer Mehjoor Ali Sofi seems to be on a roll claiming yet another five-wicket haul in the Kolkata League.
Mehjoor took 5 wickets in 25 overs including 6 maidens on Wednesday, before scoring 42 runs for 9th wicket partnership of 52 runs, helping his team Calcutta Cricket & Football Club (CCFC) chase the International Sporting Club’s 209 runs on the last day of the two-day match played in Kolkata.
With 23 wickets in his kitty, Mehjoor is the leading wicket taker in the Kolkata League, sponsored by the Bengal Cricket Association.
