Cong hits out at Nazir, Kamaal
Jammu, Feb 8: Pradesh Congress Committee Friday slammed National Conference (NC) for its “silence” over the tirade launched by party leaders Sheikh Nazir Ahmed and Dr Mustafa Kamaal against the Congress.
PCC has threatened to oppose any idea of having a pre-poll alliance with NC for upcoming general elections in the state.
Both Nazir and Kamaal have been criticizing Congress and New Delhi for sidelining “committing injustices with Kashmiris”. The duo recently called for plebiscite in Jammu and Kashmir.
“Kamaal and Nazir have launched mischievous and malicious propaganda against the Congress party and Government of India and surprisingly NC was maintaining criminal silence in this regard”, Member Legislative Council and Chief Spokesman of JKPCC, Ravinder Sharma, said here today.
