NC opts for status quo

Srinagar, Jan 9: While Congress is mapping out changes in the council of ministers from their side, its coalition partner National Conference (NC) is unlikely to change its composition of ministers in the cabinet.
Highly placed sources told Greater Kashmir that NC has decided against any change from their side in the cabinet and neither the party is planning to fill its vacancy in the council of ministers.
“The party would neither change the portfolio of any minister nor induct any new face,” reliable sources said. The National Conference has presently 11 ministers in the state government including nine cabinet ministers.
