Drug peddler arrested at The Bund

Srinagar, Jan 15: Police have arrested a notorious drug peddler and recovered charas during a raid at The Bund here on Tuesday.
 Acting on a specific tip off, a police party from Kothibagh police station rushed to The Bund near GPO and arrested the accused when he was attempting to sell charas to drug addicts. Police recovered a good quantity of charas from his possession.
 Police said he was earlier also involved in selling narcotic substances. A case vide FIR no. 04/2013 under section 20 NDPS Act has been registered at Kothibagh police station.
