JK Bank holds awareness camp in Baramulla

Srinagar, Jan 19: J&K Bank organised an awareness camp in Baramulla in collaboration with agriculture department. The camp was aimed to disseminate information about services and products of the bank and government incentives available to farming community.
A large number of people from village Budmulla and its surroundings attended the camp, besides Facilitator FLCC Baramulla, other officers from the Bank and Officials from agriculture department, the bank in a statement said.
The Facilitator FLCC Baramulla informed the audience about the financial products like education loan, self employment schemes, trade and transport loans of various banks.
He deliberated upon all the features of KCC scheme including eligibility, security, interest subvention, repayment, insurance and other related aspects.
Issues like customer rights under fair lending practices code, proper end-use of funds, need to repay the loan installments in time, were also discussed at the camp.
Also speaking on the occasion, Agriculture Extension Officer Sheeri talked about services and incentives available to the farming community besides KCC scheme and its objectives.
KCC cards were also distributed to the farmers on the occasion.
