UN has role to play in Kashmir: Khan

Srinagar, Jan 23: Asserting that bilateral agreements between India and Pakistan have failed to solve Kashmir dispute, National Front Chairman Nayeem Ahmad Khan on Wednesday urged India to sit on table with Pakistan and genuine leadership of Kashmiris to resolve this issue without wasting anymore time.
 “It is not any bilateral issue between India and Pakistan. It is a question of political future of crores of people, said Khan in a statement here.
 Terming the relation between Kashmir dispute and the UN as of a doctor and patient, Khan said, “A doctor sometimes shows reluctance to treat a patient but he can’t avoid the patient for long.” Khan added.
 Khan appealed people to observe complete shutdown on January 26.
