State Bench-Press team selected for Nationals
Srinagar, Jan 29: J&K Sports Power Lifting Association has selected the state team for the sub-junior, junior, senior and master national Bench-Press Championship-to be held at Jamshedpur, Milanee Stadium from Feb. 22 to 26.
The team was selected during recently held State Bench Press Championship. The team was selected by the association on merit basis in the presence of Rajan Jain (General Secretary), Ashok Mahajan (Sr. Vice President), Irfan Qadri (Vice President), Ajay Sharma(Vice President), Rahul Sawhney, Narinder Singh, Rajesh Dutta (Joint Secretaries).
In men’s section, Sahil Chib, Shubam Manhas, Daljeet Singh, Satyajeet Singh, Inderjeet Singh, Avinash Koul, Ankush Kotwal, Vikrant Sharma, Arun Dev, Manoj Singh, Anshuman Sharma, Sidharth Bhalwal, Shashi Pal, Rajan Jain, Sushil Kumar, Pawan Kumar, Sajad Hussain, Ankush Sharma, Viney Sharma, Sandeep Banmotra, Raman Sharma, Waris Gill, Faisal Paul and Ajay Sharma were selected while as in women’s category Parminder Kour, Jyoti Kalotra, Manjeet Kour, Rachna Salathia, Monika Sharma, Sunita Verma, Nidhi Sharma, Sahira Bano and Monika Mehra were selected.
