1 dies,11 injured in road mishaps
Srinagar,Jan 6: One person died and eleven others were injured in different road accidents across the Kashmir Valley, police said on Sunday.
A 55 year old lady Raja wife of Abdul Gani resident of Kakapora who was injured in a road accident on Friday succumbed to her injuries at SKIMS, Soura, Srinagar. A case has already been registered in this regard.
An accident took place near Barsoo, Awantipora between a truck and a Tavera resulting in injuries to eight persons. All the injured were shifted to SKIMS, Srinagar for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.
An Alto Car on way from Srinagar to Baramulla hit and injured a pedestrian Muhammad Faizan Mir, 11, son of Bashir Ahmad of Dangiwacha at Choor crossing, Sopore, in the jurisdiction of police station Tarzoo. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.
An Enova collided with a Quails bearing at Kunzer, Baramulla, in the jurisdiction of police station Kunzer, resulting in injuries to Ashiq Ahmad Naqeeb, 22, son of Abdul Gaffar Naqeeb of Chanpora, Gonipora, Kunzer who was traveling in the Quails. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.
A Tipper hit and injured Kifayat Nath, 20, of Nowgam, Srinagar at Bus Stand in the jurisdiction of police station Nowgam, Bandipora. The injured was shifted to JVC, Srinagar for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.
