I will resolve Kashmir: Nawaz Sharif
Islamabad, Mar 9: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Nawaz Sharif has said he would resolve the Kashmir dispute and try and develop better relations with Afghanistan if he came to power.
While addressing a public meeting, he said that the PPP and its allies have failed to deliver in the last five years and bloodshed has continued in Karachi and Balochistan where innocent people are being killed.
He added that if he came to power he will try and maintain law and order situation in the country.
He said that he would also try his best to resolve the power crisis within two years and also start building a railway track from Peshawar to Karachi.
According to the Daily Times, PML-N workers of Mardan, Malakand, Swabi, Nowshera and other areas attended the meeting in large numbers.
Nawaz said that when he was in power the country was on the way to progress and development, and had he remained in power the situation in the country would have been different.
He said that when he was in power the Pakistani currency and economy were stronger than that of India, and Pakistan was considered a more developed country than its counterpart.
Nawaz said that the Punjab government provided free treatment to the poor kidney patients and also gave houses to the poor people and free laptops to the students.
