Stop arrests: Zaffar to Govt

Srinagar, Mar 9: Chairman Jammu Kashmir Salvation Movement Zafar Akbar Bhat on Saturday expressed serious concern over, what he said, the fresh spurt in the arrests of political leaders and youth across the valley, threatening serious consequences if the administration failed to stop the arrest drive. 
 “Jammu and Kashmir is a horrible and worst place to live in. After the execution of Shaheed Muhammad Afzal Guru in Tihar, Kashmir has virtually turned into an army camp,” said Zaffar in a statement today.
 Zafar has expressed full support to the Muthida Majlis Mushawarat programme, urging people to follow these letter and spirit.
