Mirza Sons, New JK Roadways join as co-sponsors
KHYBER 12TH TOUR DE KASHMIR
Srinagar, Sep 5: After getting backing from Khyber Group, the organisers of Khyber 12th Tour de Kashmir got another short in the arm as two leading business houses of Valley, Mirza Sons and New JK Roadways joined event as co-sponsors.
The organising body of event, J&K Sports Development Association (JKSDA) had requested both the business houses to help make event reality by coming forward as sponsors.
On Thursday both, Mirza Sons and New JK Roadways gave their nod for becoming the co-sponsors for 5-day mega national level cycling extravaganza. “We are delighted to announce that Mirza Sons and New JK Roadways are Co-Sponsors of this biggest cycling event of Country,” JKSDA President Bashir Ahmad Malik.
“Both the corporate houses have given their wholehearted support to the event and have assured us that they will continue their support in future as well. We are thankful to Director Mirza Sons, Ahsan Mirza and Managing Director, New JK Roadways, Muhammad Maqbool Lone for again turning up to promote sports in the State,” he said.
Mirza Sons is well Carpet export corporate house of State and has been promoting sports from last many years. They have been running couple of known cricket clubs and have also been sponsoring number of academies.
New JK Roadways on other hand sponsored mega knockout football tournament in Srinagar couple of years ago and is currently fully supporting the Eidgah Football Academy.
The event is being held from September 21 to 25 and is being organised by JKSDA under the auspices of J&K Cycling Association and JK Tourism.
