Srinagar, June 24: The World Craft Council’s recognition of Srinagar as a World Craft City has been warmly welcomed by the J&K Hoteliers Club and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Kashmir (CCIK). This historic achievement underscores the region’s rich cultural heritage and exceptional craftsmanship.
Mushtaq Chaya, Chairman of the J&K Hotelier Club and Chief Patron of CCIK, along with CCIK President Tariq Ghani, congratulated the artisans, business community, and residents of Jammu & Kashmir on this prestigious accolade. They emphasized that this recognition reflects the unparalleled skill and dedication of local artisans.
The business leaders expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha for their visionary leadership and support.
