Poonch, May 28: The Poonch Campus of Jammu University in collaboration with the Jammu and Kashmir Entrepreneurship Development Institute (JKEDI) organized an “Entrepreneurship Programme” under the theme “Entrepreneurship as a Career Option,” with a special focus on the J&K Startup Policy (2024-2027).
The event was aimed to inspire and educate students and aspiring entrepreneurs about the various opportunities and support mechanisms available under the new policy.
Prof Rakesh Vaid, Director of the Poonch Campus in his message highlighted the critical importance of such initiatives in his address.
He emphasised that these events are essential to raise awareness among the youth about the vast avenues in entrepreneurship.
Prof Vaid assured that the Poonch Campus will continue to organize similar events in the future to foster an entrepreneurial spirit among students.
He further said that the event featured engaging discussions and interactive sessions that provided valuable insights into the entrepreneurial landscape, focusing on the support and opportunities offered by the J&K Startup Policy (2024-2027).
