Ramban, Mar 20: A leopard was found dead under mysterious circumstances in a stream outskirts of Doda town on Wednesday.
Official sources said a leopard was found dead in a gorge at Koti, Nullah area outskirts of Doda town on Wednesday.
They said some local’s spotted a dead leopard in a gorge and informed WildLife Department control Doda.
On getting information officials of the wildlife department rushed to the spot and took the carcass of the leopard into their custody.
A Wild Life Department Official said the carcass of leopard will be shifted to WildLife Department Hospital Kishtwar for postmortem and other necessary formalities.
