Srinagar, August 11: Security forces on Sunday morning launched a search operation following a brief exchange of fire with militants in Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir, police said.
“Brief exchange of fire has taken place between terrorists and security forces in the area of Kishtwar Police station. Search operation is going on,” said Kishtwar Police on X.
Two soldiers were killed and as any civilians injured in an ongoing operation in Kapran mountains in south Kashmir yesterday.
