Srinagar, Aug 23: In a much-needed relief to students, Cluster University Srinagar has declared the results for the UG 6th semester exams for the regular batch of 2021, along with previous backlog batches.
The timely declaration of the results has enabled the students to secure admission for Postgraduate (PG) courses at Kashmir University, where the admission process is currently underway.
Notably, the result is available on the University website (www.cusrinagar.edu.in) and the candidates having any discrepancy (LO/ NA) in their result shall be cleared within week’s time.
Result of UG 6th semester exam was declared in two days after culmination of examination as the date for uploading of awards of skill papers was August 20 of 2024 as per the notified date sheet.
Greater Kashmir earlier reported about the issue and highlighted the apprehension of the UG 6th semester students of CU Srinagar about losing one academic year given the delay in declaration of the results.
Following the report, the Cluster University Srinagar issued a statement and assured that the varsity has taken note of the concerns of the outgoing students and an amicable solution was being worked out in consultation with the authorities at University of Kashmir. The university stated that the varsity was expediting declaration of results of 6th semester examination so that desirous candidates can seek admission in various postgraduate courses at University of Kashmir.
The University authorities had assured that the result of the Semester 6 examinations will be declared in the shortest possible span of time after the culmination of exams on August 20 of 2024.
