Srinagar, Aug 30: The pedestrian bridge linking Mehjoor Nagar and Jawahar Nagar at Mehjoor Nagar Bund has missed deadline, leaving a substantial segment of the population in a state of utter dismay.
The foundation stone of this project was laid with in August 2022. The bridge was scheduled to be completed within a year.
Local news agency Kashmir News Trust said locals expressed resentment as the bridge missed the deadline. “We urge authorities to complete the bridge on priority to prevent inconvenience to us,” locals said.
