Srinagar, June 13: Dr Syed Darakhshan Andrabi, Chairperson of J&K Waqf Board today paid obeisance at shrine of Mir Syed Ali Hamadani (RA) at Khankah-e-Moula here.
On the occasion, Andrabi also took stock of the Urs arrangements at the shrine. Andrabi said that she was thankful to the people for acknowledging the developmental and management improvements by the J&K Waqf Board at the shrine.
“It is encouraging to see people acknowledging developmental measures of Waqf Board,” said Dr Darakhshan. She said that the message of brotherhood and peace of Hazrat Shah-e-Hamadan (RA) needs to be spread among the young generations for strengthening the Sufi tradition of co-existence and harmony in the society.
