Gousia Colony residents decry lack of drainage facility

Srinagar, July 14: The residents of Gousia Colony at Buzahama Hazratbal have decried the lack of a drainage facility.

The residents said that the colony was established in the late 90s, but lacks drainage facilities. They said during rains, the roads in the locality get waterlogged and they face problems to venture out. The said the main road connecting to the colony also lacks a drainage facility.

   

“Our colony road is also damaged due to accumulation of water after rains. We are in urgent need of a drainage system. We hope that authorities will look into the issue with seriousness and solve it,” said another local.
