Natipora residents resent dilapidated road

Srinagar, June 12: Residents of Peer Mohalla in Natipora locality have expressed resentment against failure of authorities to undertake macadamisation of the road in the area.

A delegation from the locality said that in absence of repairs, the road is uneven and dotted with potholes. “During rains, the road turns into a cesspool. It has become difficult for residents to walk on potholed roads. Locals and pedestrians frequently suffer injuries due to dilapidated roads,” they said.

The residents said while roads in adjoining localities have been repaired, this road has been left out. “We make a fervent appeal to concerned authorities to look into the matter and undertake road repairs,” they added.
