Srinagar, Aug 12: Residents of Umarabad sector A Lane 5 have complained of acute shortage of drinking water supply.
A delegation from the area said that in the absence of drinking water, they face immense problems.
“Despite having piped connections, we have to fetch water in containers from adjoining areas. We have been urging the PHE authorities to look into the issue, but the water supply hasn’t been restored yet,” they said.
The residents appealed Chief Engineer PHE to look into the matter and resolve it on priority.
