BJP’s Central Election Committee to meet today to discuss J&K candidates

New Delhi, Aug 24: The Central Election Committee of the Bharatiya Janata Party is likely to meet on August 25 to decide party candidates for assembly elections in J&K and Haryana.

The meeting will be held at the party headquarters in New Delhi.

   

The Election Commission of India (ECI) has issued a notification for the first phase of assembly polls in J&K.

Polling will be held on 24 seats on September 18.

J&K will go for election in three phases and votes will be counted on October 4.
