Devender Rana is BJP’s candidate from Nagrota

Srinagar, Aug 27: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Tuesday nominated Devender Singh Rana as its candidate for Nagrota constituency.

A three-time legislator, Rana, a proponent of the Jammu Declaration – a roadmap for an inclusive Jammu and Kashmir, quit the National Conference and joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) three years ago.

   

He had won from Nagrota assembly seat of Jammu in 2014 on an NC ticket.

He also served as political advisor to Omar Abdullah when he was the chief minister of J&K.
