MIGRANT WORKER’S KILLING | Shop of terror accused attached in Anantnag

Srinagar, Nov 8: Police in Anantnag attached a shop ‘The Game Modification’ run by a person who is accused of killing a migrant worker in the south Kashmir district.
A migrant worker Deepak Kumar alias Deepu was shot dead by terrorists near Amusement Park Janglat Mandi.

“On May 29 evening, terrorists fired at a migrant labourer Deepak Kumar alias Deepu, son of Mashu of Thial Panchayat Deot Bilaspur Udhampur near the Amusement Park at Janglat Mandi causing serious and fatal injuries who later died at Government Medical College (GMC) Anantnag,” Police said here. “After killing Deepak, the terrorist fled from the spot.”

   

Police said FIR No 171/2023 under Section 7/27 of the I A Act, 302 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) 16, 18, 20, and 39 of the UAPA was registered and an investigation was set into motion.
It said that during the investigation, six terrorists associated with Kashmir Freedom Fighters, an offshoot of the proscribed terrorist outfit Jaish-e-Muhammad, were arrested.

They were identified as Sehran Bashir Nadaf, son of Bashir Ahmad Nadaf of Shirpora Deva Colony; Ubaid Nazir Laigroo, son of Nazir Ahmad Laigroo of Shirpora New Colony; Umer Amin Thoker, son of Muhammad Amin of Waghama; Huzaif Shabir Bhat, son of Shabir Ahmad Bhat of Wachi Shopian; Nasir Farooq Shah, son of Farooq Ahmad Shah of Wanteng Mohalla Bijbehara, and Suveed Showkat Bhat, son of Showkat Ahmad Bhat of Fatehpora.

Police said that a shop ‘The Game Modification’ situated at Zirpara Bijbehara, run by accused Umer Amin Thoker, son of Muhammad Amin of Waghama, which was used for this terror incident is attached Under Section 25 of UAPA.
