New Delhi, June 5: The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) unanimously elected Narendra Modi as its leader.
In a key meeting held at the Prime Minister’s residence on Wednesday, members of the NDA extended their support to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and PM Modi as the alliance leader, clearing Modi as Prime Minister without any hurdles or speculations.
“Under Modi’s leadership, the NDA government is committed to serving the poor, women, youth, farmers, and marginalised citizens of India. The government aims to improve living standards across the country while preserving India’s rich heritage, ensuring all-round development,” read Resolution 3.0.
This development follows a crucial meeting at the PM’s residence at 7, Lok Kalyan Marg, held a day after the Lok Sabha election results, to discuss the formation of the next government.
The resolution electing Modi as the NDA leader was passed unanimously.
The meeting was attended by prominent NDA leaders, including Bihar Chief Minister and JD(U) chief Nitish Kumar, TDP leader Chandrababu Naidu, LJP’s Chirag Paswan, RLD’s Jayant Chaudhary, H D Kumaraswamy, Jitan Ram Manjhi, Anupriya Patel, Eknath Shinde, and top BJP leadership, including Amit Shah, Rajnath Singh, J P Nadda, and others.
