Cloudburst hits Keller village in south Kashmir’s Pulwama; rescue ops on

Srinagar, Aug 17: A cloudburst struck Achgoza village in Keller area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama, resulting in increased levels in streams, and causing flash floods in the area, reports said.

This threw the life out-of-gear in the region, news agency KNC reported.

   

Rattled people were seen standing on their entrances and the streets, watching the heavy flow of water going down the street.

Reports said that a cloudburst occurred at Chowan Keller and caused a flood-like situation in Achgoza as water has entered many residential houses and other structures.

Till now, no damages or injury to human life have been reported from the area, a joint team of Revenue Department, SDRF and Police have launched a rescue operation to ensure safety of the locals.
