Nalin Prabhat moved to AGMUT cadre

Srinagar Aug 14: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet on Wednesday sanctioned the inter-state deputation of DG NSG Nalin Prabhat of the Andhra Pradesh cadre to the AGMUT cadre for a tenure of 3 years.

Prabhat, a senior IPS officer, is presently serving as the Director General of the National Security Guard (NSG).

   

“The undersigned is directed to convey the approval of the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet for curtailment of tenure of Nalin Prabhat, IPS (AP: 92) as Director General, National Security Guard (NSG). Sanction is also given to inter-cadre deputation Nalin Prabhat from Andhra Pradesh to AGMUT Cadre, initially for three years from the date of joining the AGMUT cadre or until further orders, whichever is earlier, in relaxation of inter-cadre deputation guidelines,” the order stated.

In an official memorandum, the Ministry of Home Affairs said, “It is requested that Nalin Prabhat, IPS (AP:92), DG, NSG may be relieved immediately to enable him to join AGMUT cadre.”
