Jatinder Singh appointed as nodal officer for grievances during J-K Assembly elections

Srinagar, Sep 03: The Home department of J-K government on Tuesday appointed Jatinder Singh Johar, as Nodal Officer, for coordinating and furnishing of reports in respect of grievances received from Election Commission during the upcoming Assembly elections.

In an order, the govt said, “Based on the consultation with PHQ in the Coordination meeting held in Home Department on 02.09.2024, sanction is hereby accorded to the appointment of Mr. Jatinder Singh Johar, IPS, AIG (Crime & Complaints) PHQ, J&K as Nodal Officer, for coordinating and furnishing of reports in respect of grievances received from Election Commission of India, during the General Elections to Legislative Assembly in the UT of J&K, 2024.”
