Govt asks departments to streamline execution of developmental works

Jammu, May 18: J&K ARI and Trainings Department has constituted an internal committee to consider cases, falling under the ambit of Article 226(2) of the Jammu and Kashmir Civil Service Regulations, 1956, to “remove the non-performing or deadwood employees” in the department.

As per the panel’s terms of reference, the Head of the Departments (HoDs) will identify and timely process the cases falling under the ambit of Article 226(2) to remove the non-performing or deadwood employees and place the list of such officers or officials before the internal committee of the department.

   

The internal committee will ensure that the service record of the government servants is being scrutinised or reviewed, along with a summary, bringing out all relevant information and placed before the review committee, constituted for the purpose.

It (the internal committee) will have the Administrative Secretary, ARI and Trainings Department as its chairperson while Secretary (Technical), ARI and Trainings Department; Director Finance, ARI & Trainings Department; General Manager, Govt Press, Srinagar and General Manager Ranbir Govt Press, Jammu will be its members.

Under Secretary (Adm), ARI and Trainings Department will be its member secretary.

“In supersession of all previous orders on the subject and in terms of Article 226(2)(i) of the Jammu and Kashmir Civil Service Regulations, 1956, amended vide SO 324 of 2020 dated October 22, 2020, the sanction is hereby ordered to the constitution of Internal Committee comprising these officers to consider the cases of officers or officials of ARI & Trainings Department,” read an order.
