Doda, Aug 19: With the implementation of Model Code of Conduct, a meeting regarding election preparedness, the ADDC Doda Pran Singh (Nodal officer MCC Doda) convened a crucial meeting for the upcoming Assembly Elections-2024 at DC Office.
The meeting was attended by the ROs, Dy District Election Officer Doda, Master Trainers, members of Assistant Expenditure observers, Flying Squads teams, Static surveillance teams, Video surveillance teams, Video Viewing teams, Accounting teams and team of Media cell Doda.
During the meeting, ADDC Doda emphasised the importance of being well- versed in the legal framework, monitoring and enforcement mechanisms and reporting requirements related to election expenditure monitoring.
He highlighted the significance of transparency and accountability in the electoral process and urged the team to uphold these principles.
He also directed the Media Certification and Monitoring Cell to conduct social media monitoring, as well as monitor paid news and other advertisements in print and print electronic media during the election process.
Special emphasis was placed on the polling station and the formation of static surveillance teams and flying squads teams was also discussed in the meeting.
