  1. New Delhi, June 23: Noted senior advocate of Supreme Court Ashok Bhan today said that BJP’s revoking the constitutional special status of of Kashmir granted by constituent assembly and reducing the state of Jammu and Kashmir into two union territories have angered people in J&K and Ladakh.

According to a press release, he was speaking at a seminar organised by Asia Pacific Lawyers Association and Jurists International in Delhi. Bhan added that the constitutional democracy in India is the world recognised instrument and process as a great leveler of the highest, mighty and appealingly so called self- claiming invincible political parties.

Bhan said that in the recently concluded general elections in India where more than 640 million people voted in a marathon seven-week election was hailed as a “world record” by election authorities. Nearly half of the voters were women, the opposition has staged a remarkable come back that has chastened the often described invincible Modi -Shah duo.
