Statehood to J&K after Assembly polls: LG Manoj Sinha

Srinagar, Aug 11: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha Sunday said that Statehood will follow after Assembly polls in J&K as things are taking place as per sequence in the UT.

Talking to the reporters at Jammu University on the sidelines of a function, the Lieutenant Governor as per news agency-Kashmir News Corner (KNC) said that delimitation was done after which ECI visited J&K & met political leaders and other stakeholders.

   

“Delimitation was done and now things are happening in the sequence. Now polls will be held and then Statehood will be restored,” Lieutenant Governor said.
